The first day of Ken’s fundraising ride along the Leeds – Liverpool canal  arrived with a rather wet start, but soon the sun appeared and he was on his way from the Eldonian Basin to Wigan Pier, a distance of 35 miles.

All went well until he reached Scarisbrick, when the front tyre punctured. Oh well … tomorrow is another day!
