What Makes us Different?
Projects you can trust.
We are a small organisation with oodles of compassion. All our projects have been developed according to the bespoke needs of Otacho Christian Children's Home, with sustainability at the forefront of all our capital projects. Every penny donated to our projects is spent locally, if at all possible, thus benefitting the local economy.
Enabling and Empowering
Through our partners, the children have a safe and secure home environment where they can grow, develop self confidence and independence. But it is education which will empower and enable them in their future. Kenya Thriving facilitates access to the education which will develop skills to achieve goals and become potential changmakers in society.
Working Together
There is a saying in Africa "It takes a whole village to raise a child". Kenya Thriving is just one part of the network of people and organisations who are invested in raising 51 vulnerable and marginalised children. We partner with an organisation from the local community and with local schools; who buy local produce and employ local staff. Together we are making a difference.
