Food on their plate
This project is simple and does what it says; it puts food onto the plates of children who are being cared for by our partner organisation.
Since January 2019 an improved menu has been introduced which give the children a more nutritionally balanced diet which includes fish, chicken, fruit and milk.
The new kitchen facilities now mean the housemothers prepare meals in a more hygienic environment. Whilst the new stoves are still fuelled by wood, they are must cleaner and more heat efficient.
The cost of feeding one child is approximately £40.00 per month.
